Your Third Assignment:
Pup Intro Protocol

Every pet is required to complete a Pup Intro Protocol (previously known an Initial Assessment) prior to any daycare or boarding.

Think of it like a first date! So, let’s take things slow and not rush into things! Come in and get to know us, see our facility, and let us learn about your pup. Let the “first date” be short and sweet while we both warm up to having your pup during extended stays in daycare or boarding.

PARKING: You may park in our shared garage located on Pawa`a Lane (attached to the building) or street parking along S King St.

Follow the paw prints along South King Street to our discreet entrance into our lobby.

What to expect:

The Pup Intro Protocol begins with you introducing your pup to one of our experienced handlers who will greet you in the lobby and answer any questions you may have. Let your pup smell his way around; messes are normal! After handing over the leash, your fur baby will say “a hui hou” and “see you later!” as he gets to explore his new environment! The handler will allow one-on-one time to get to know one another before being gently introduced to the pack in a separated area first. If all goes well, he may have a chance to join the main pack. Otherwise, we may try him with dogs we feel would be compatible and safe to socialize with him.

The Pup Intro Protocol ranges from 2 hours to 4 hours, based on you and your pet's needs and preferences. Upon pick-up, the handler will provide you an overview of their observations of your pet’s behaviors, personality, and temperament along with any recommendations or suggestions. This initial assessment costs $40.
