Assignment #3: Pup Intro Protocol
Already completed registration and submitted vaccination records? This is your next and final step in our New Client Intake Process before daycare or boarding.
Every dog is required to complete a Pup Intro Protocol (formerly called an Initial Assessment) prior to participating in daycare or boarding.
Once you have completed:

Assignment #2 - Health Clearance | Submit Vaccination Record
Our team will contact you to schedule your Pup Intro Protocol.
Appointments are typically available 7 days a week from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm. Based on your dog’s temperament, age, or needs, we may recommend a specific day or time.
The visit lasts 2 to 4 hours, based on your dog and your schedule.
Cost: $40
Payment is due at pick-up.
Completion of the Pup Intro Protocol does not guarantee daycare or boarding eligibility. Recommendations will be based on safety, comfort, and compatibility.
Friendly Explanation:
Think of it as a first meet-and-greet.
We want your pup’s first experience with us to feel positive, calm, and comfortable. This visit gives your dog time to explore the environment, meet our team, and be introduced at an appropriate pace before future daycare or boarding stays.
What to expect:
When you arrive, one of our experienced handlers will greet you in the lobby and answer any questions.
Your pup will have time to sniff, settle in, and get comfortable. Accidents can happen during exciting first visits, and that’s completely normal.
Once ready, your dog will spend one-on-one time with a handler before being gradually introduced to other dogs in a controlled setting. If appropriate, they may join a compatible playgroup.
At pick-up, we’ll review our observations regarding your dog’s behavior, temperament, comfort level, and recommendations for future visits.
Facility Tours
Facility tours are available for new clients who have completed a Pup Intro Protocol.
Tours are generally offered on weekends from 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM and may be scheduled at drop-off.
To maintain a calm routine and safe environment for our dogs, tour availability is limited.
Parking/Arrival
Parking is available in the shared garage on Pawaʻa Lane or on-street parking along South King Street.
Follow the paw prints along South King Street to our discreet lobby entrance. Ring the doorbell and listen for the click. That’s your clearance being granted. Finally, a doorbell with purpose.
